By purchasing a course or using our services, you agree to these Terms.
1. Our Courses
Our courses and associated materials are supplied for your personal, non-commercial use.
When you purchase a course, you receive a personal, non-transferable right to access and use the course materials in accordance with these Terms. You do not acquire ownership of the course content or any intellectual property rights in it.
You may not reproduce, distribute, sell, share, publish or otherwise commercially exploit our course materials without our written permission.
2. Purchases and Payments
When you purchase a course through Tribus Leonum, you are purchasing it from Doctrinae Ltd.
The price payable for your course is displayed before you complete your purchase. Unless otherwise stated, the displayed price is the total amount you will pay, including any applicable taxes.
Prices may change from time to time, but changes will not affect purchases already completed.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Stripe may offer payment methods or services such as Link as part of the checkout process. Your use of any payment service provided by Stripe may also be subject to Stripe's applicable terms and privacy policies.
Your purchase is complete once payment has been successfully processed and we have accepted your order. We will provide confirmation of your purchase electronically.
If a payment is unsuccessful, cancelled or otherwise not completed, course access may not be provided.
3. Course Access
Unless otherwise stated before purchase, access to a purchased digital course is made available shortly after successful completion of your purchase.
Course access is associated with the email address used when purchasing the course. You are responsible for providing an email address that you can access and for keeping access to your account secure.
Your course access is personal to you and must not be shared with another person.
4. Cancellation and Refunds for Digital Content
Our courses are digital content which is made available for access shortly after purchase.
Before completing your purchase, you will be asked to expressly agree that we may give access to the digital content immediately and to acknowledge that, once access to the digital content is provided, you lose your statutory 14-day right to cancel the purchase.
Once course access has been provided following that agreement and acknowledgement, we do not provide refunds simply because you have changed your mind.
This does not affect any statutory rights or remedies you may have where digital content is faulty, not as described, not supplied as agreed, or where you otherwise have a right to a remedy under applicable consumer law.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts any consumer right that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.
5. Intellectual Property
All course content, text, graphics, images, downloads and other materials made available through Tribus Leonum are owned by or licensed to Doctrinae Ltd unless otherwise stated.
Course materials are provided solely for your own personal use.
You must not copy, reproduce, republish, distribute, sell, sublicense, make publicly available or create commercial derivative works from the course materials without our prior written permission.
6. Availability of the Service
We aim to keep our website and course platform available and functioning reliably, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
We may occasionally need to suspend access temporarily for maintenance, security, updates or circumstances outside our reasonable control.
If you experience difficulty accessing a course you have purchased, please contact us so that we can investigate and restore access where appropriate.
7. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it would be unlawful for us to do so, including liability that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from use of a course purchased as a consumer.
Our courses are provided for educational and informational purposes. Any specific limitations or disclaimers relating to the subject matter of a particular course will be stated where appropriate.
8. Privacy
Our handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.
9. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time.
Changes will apply prospectively and will not remove rights you have under a purchase already made. Where a change materially affects an existing service or your rights, we will take reasonable steps to notify you where appropriate.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
If you are a consumer, you may also have mandatory rights under the laws applicable where you live which these Terms do not affect.
